Combat is very stale and doesn’t feel great, I’m also stuck after destroying the orc spawner not really sure how to progress. Overall the game looks decent though.

I beg to differ. Combat is way above average for a gamejam game. It even has 4 different abilities. The reason you struggle with progress is because it's a puzzle game with combat elements. Only gripe I have with the game is the cursor changing on the pillar which seems more like a bug rather than bad game design.

I’m only giving him feedback so he knows how to improve his game. That is the whole point of the jam, no need to get defensive about it. Having 4 different abilities does not mean the combat is suddenly better, would rather have 1 fun ability than 4 mediocre ones.

We hope that you enjoyed it!
Yes, the cursor had an actual bug. Thank you that you found it! It is now fixed and uploaded in the latest version.

Glad you took the criticism better than the other guy lol, if u just polish it up a bit, and maybe add sounds/a bit more content the game should be 🔥🔥🔥

Thank you for the feedback!

We tried to implement a prototype with a combat system that is quite enjoyable for the player, but it is true that it needs a lot of improvements.
About the second part, yeah, it needs a little bit of exploration to figure out your next steps :). We have uploaded some changes that we believe improve the level pacing. Hopefully, they are good enough :)
